Initial Consultation

We start our consultation by asking you to complete some quick paperwork – arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time. We will then take a medical history and complete a physical examination. If required, you will be referred for imaging. If no imaging is required, we will begin treatment immediately.
Standard Consultation

The standard consultation takes between 15 and 20 minutes. This may include all of the modalities that we have to offer. These consultations are reserved for returning patients.
Exercise/Long Consultation

The long consultation takes between 30 and 40 minutes. It is reserved for cases where more attention is required, for example, if there is pain in more than two areas of the body. Alternatively, it is suitable for those who prefer a little extra time devoted to their injury.

Long Consultation

Long consultation will last approximately 30-40 minutes and is reserved for the cases that need attention in more than two areas of the body or for those that would like a little extra time devoted to their injury.

Remedial Massage
Pre-adjustment Massage

This massage should be booked 30 minutes before your chiropractic appointment. It allows the therapist to relax all of your muscles allowing more effective adjustments. Health funds will not pay rebates for this type of massage.
Remedial Massage (1 hour)
$ 90
This is a remedial massage appointment that will last one hour. The 15 minutes afterward allows time for payment and cleaning for the next patient. Health funds will not pay rebates for this type of massage.
Remedial Massage (1.5 hours)

This is a remedial massage appointment that will last one and a half hours. The 15 minutes afterward allows time for payment and cleaning for the next patient. Health funds will not pay rebates for this type of massage.
Injured At Work?
All our chiropractors are SIRA-approved. This means they can provide treatment plans if you are injured at work.
Make sure you submit a worker’s compensation claim and receive treatment approval from the insurer prior to booking your appointment.
Pittwater Chiro uses HICAPS, allowing clients to make claims on the spot. This reduces the cost and amount on admin our patients need to do.
We are also registered with Medicare. We are therefore permitted to use Enhanced Primary Care referrals from your GP.
